Yesterday was a gorgeous day filled with all the hope of spring and a mini thunderstorm in the evening for a finale. Tonight, snow is in the forecast. I won't comment for fear that there will be sailor language.
I haven't been up to much knitting other than my Einstein Coat, which is nearly completed. I did go to an Einstein Coat Party last Friday at my LYS.
This is Kathy. She's partying. What you can't see in the picture is the wine.
This is one of my classmate's completed Einstein Coat. She really didn't even want me to take her picture when I told her it was going to be on my blog, so she will remain simply identified as the Valedictorian of the Einstein Class. The other person that could have been the valedictorian didn't show up. Party Pooper. If you're reading, you know who you are. Sorry Kathy, you can't be Valedictorian because it was your class.
Oh, I got a pretty major haircut. This has been a long time coming. My thyroid issues wrecked havoc on my long hair, so I had it chopped off.
Before:
It's in a ponytail so the picture isn't really accurate for the true length. I had seven inches cut off and got one of those newfangled bob deals.
After:
Crappy picture and please pardon my bathroom mirror that needs to be cleaned. This was my best effort at a backwards shot into the mirror. I really love this haircut. Glad I finally did it.
Hopefully soon, I'll have an Einstein picture for you.
